Improvements to the walkways around the green have been made possible by Redcar & Cleveland Community Safety Partnership from their recent “Stepforward” grant initiative. Our grateful thanks go out to the council and it’s partners in the scheme which include NHS Redcar & Cleveland and Cleveland Police. Their kind donation has ensured that bowling can continue at the club for many years now that the potholed tarmac walkways, which could have threatened the sporting and social activities of many residents of Guisborough & the surrounding area, have been replaced.

Paving works were completed by the end of Wednesday 31st March despite the best efforts of the rainy weather to stop the work.
